Where Tradition lives

Without the religious character, Carlism can’t be understood. Carlism, defends Religion in the appropriate time and place that must be defended with the resources that circumstances need and against the attacks of the harmfulest enemy. Carlism, both in the political struggle and in the armed struggle, doesn’t want to be an independent guerrilla soldier neither an anarchic explorer, but a sturdy cover, an effective vanguard in the advances and an heroic rearguard in the retreats.

Since the parties were born in our country, because of the organization that was adopted in the Courts of Cadiz (1812), they was not intended to serve the truth of Spain; this truth would have given rise to an agreement, at least in the fundamental and most important things. But parties are committed to serving accidental, casual, accessories and individuals interests. However, even Carlism never sacrificed the values that were and will be permanent and eternal in Spain.

Carlism, was never absolutist, but the lie told by liberalism, went deep into the ignorant hearts. However they were absolutist: Ferdinand VII and liberal centralism; so both were and are derived from pagan forms of "Caesarism" and the French Revolution, which was repugnant to the mode of being of our people and our traditions.

Carlism is the guardian of Tradition, that doesn’t mean stagnancy, much less regression, but precisely transmission, evolution on a nerve guide, heritage that is given, a legacy that is enriched to be transmited whom come after. Only who receives and accepts the Tradition, can keep it, and only who keep it will can transmit it.

In the Tradition there are eternal values: the fear of God, the sanctification and love of family and neighbor, harmony between different social classes, the love of Fatherland, defense of religion, the respect for property, the value of authority and order, attachment to the customs and respect and solidarity between regions within the Hispanic Homeland.

Sin el carácter religioso no podría entenderse. El Carlismo defiende la Religión en el momento y lugar oportuno en que debe defenderse, con los medios que exigen las circunstancias y contra los ataques del enemigo mas dañino. El Carlismo, lo mismo en la lucha política que en la armada, no pretende ser ni un guerrillero independiente ni un anárquico explorador, sino una cobertura recia, una vanguardia eficaz en los avances y una retaguardia heroica en las retiradas.

Desde que los partidos nacieron en nuestra patria, con motivo de la organización que se adoptó en las Cortes de Cádiz (1812), su finalidad no fue servir a la verdad de España, en lo que hubiera surgido el acuerdo, por lo menos en las cosas fundamentales y mas importantes. Pero los partidos se dedicaron a servir intereses accidentales, ocasionales, accesorios y particulares. El Carlismo sin embargo, jamás sacrificó los que eran y serán valores permanentes del ser de España.

El Carlismo, nunca fue absolutista, pero la mentira propagada por el Liberalismo, caló hondo en los corazones ignorantes. Sí que fueron absolutistas Fernando VII y el centralismo liberal: Ambos eran y son formas paganas derivadas del "cesarismo" y de la Revolución francesa, que repugnaba al modo de ser de nuestro pueblo y a nuestras tradiciones.

El Carlismo es custodio de la Tradición, que no quiere decir estancamiento ni mucho menos retroceso, sino precisamente transmisión, evolución sobre un nervio guía, herencia que se recibe, legado que se enriquece para transmitirlo a los que vienen después. Solo quien recibe y acepta la Tradición, puede conservarla, y solo quien la conserva puede transmitirla.

En la Tradición hay principios eternos: el temor de Dios, la santificación y el amor a la familia y hacia el prójimo, la armonía entre las diferentes clases sociales, el amor a la Patria, la defensa de la Religión, el respeto a la propiedad, el principio de la autoridad y orden, el apego a las costumbres, y respeto y solidaridad entre las regiones que integran la Patria Hispana.
